    Spyderco Bug Pouch

    Hi all,

This is my latest project, it's only small and not very impressive but it's cute and I'm pleased with it!

It's a keyring pouch for a Spyderco Bug.

    Write up is here:

    Pics:

If you like it keep an eye on Makers Sales because I've made a little batch in different colours to sell! They're not all purple, this one's for Mum!

    Thanks for looking,

    Ian.

It is impressive, I think it's bloody brilliant. We all acknowledge the Bug as being a useful thing to have on a keyring, why not love it a little more?

I think you may sell a few of these, and some. I'd like one for sure, when's the launch?
Frank Mclaury: You're next on my list, Holliday. You better get used to seeing my face, 'cause it's the last thing you're gonna see.

Doc Holliday: McLaury, seeing your face would be a pleasant change. I understand most of your enemies got it in the back.

Would it fit a Ladybug too?

No idea I'm afraid, I don't own one so I don't know how big they are!

It just fits the bug there's no slack in it to speak of, I didn't want to make it too big since it would have defeated the object of the tiny knife!

No way. The Ladybug is an elephant as to a mouse. The Bug is just over 4cm closed, less than half the length of a little finger.

Could I have a natural veg tan one if you're making them please? When you're in the mood, no rush.

Do you just mean natural coloured leather, no dye just polish?

If so I can certainly do that

Prettier than mine. I'm with you on the idea that they should be stored on a keyring, but come off easily for use. Hopefully lots of potential buyers agree

    Re: Spyderco Bug Pouch

Me too! Just got one left to sew so they'll go up for sale in the next couple of days. Not sure what to charge for them though! Don't think people will want to pay much they're only small...

They do still take a fair bit of time each though but that's maybe partly down to my slow sewing

I've done five all different colours, they look pretty cool all together!

Didn't make too many as I didn't want to get stuck with a load if people thought they were rubbish, if they all go I'll make some more, it's good practice for me!

Think how many bugs have been sold on here? 100's I'd guess. You'll have no problem selling these, they look great.

Yeah, that would be great. Like I say, no rush, paypal's not working properly.

    Re: Spyderco Bug Pouch

So my Mum came round for tea earlier and I gave her her one of these which is the one in the photo.

    "That's lovely!" she says.

"You can make me a handbag next!"
