    Looks like something you wouldn't mind using hard, yet looks nice,
    I like the blade, what is it, forged it your self or bought in ?

    Blade is San Mai , ths means 150layers each side, and home made
    1,5%C-Steel in the middle.
    Result 62hrc.
    Yes I forge myself also wootz, Mokume Gane ,...........
    This one is delivered as a Present to my Brother-in-law, he is a Farmer and this knive have to work very hard each day.

    Congrats on that rough, hard working cutting tool, Torsten!

    As mentioned on another forums already I like that one a lot, even I`m not a sheepsfoot fan.
    Just change the blade to a clippoint, nail some nice sambar scales to the handle and it`d be my slippie!

    That's a great looking knife. I really like it. It has my favorite pocket knife blade shape.

    I really like the blade and the overall finish.

    I would really be happy carrying a knife like this every day.

    by the way, is the bolster made from mokume???

    if so, I would really like a knife like this one.
    Sorrel seems to be the hardest herb.

    As well as he forges his damascus, melts his own wootz .........

    I thought it looked good.

    I love the blade shape and the whole thing is very appealing.

    How big is it? I must have missed any dimensions that Torsten mentioned

    Sorrel seems to be the hardest herb.

    Just for the record:
    The core is made of Torsten`s own wootz with layers of damascus if I read that correctly at german messerforum.
