    Tactical Orange Peeler, Koa Edition

This is my second Tactical Orange Peeler, this time with curly koa from the shop of Tom Mayo. This one is going to the UK, so maybe you'll get to see it for yourself someday! I hope this is okay, but I just realized the public computer (no land line/Internet at home, so I use the library on weekends) I'm on won't allow me FTP access to my website, so I'll have to post a link to the pictures at Bladeforums. On Monday I'll post links here. Sorry, fellas, and if this is against forum rules please edit it for me and it won't happen again!

I really like that! If you keep showing knives like this I'm going to have to get you to make me something!

    Cheers,

Thanks! I ran a little behind on this one, and I have something else on order that is also going to the UK that I haven't even started yet, so I won't be taking orders for a couple weeks, probably, although I have a tanto and a kiridashi that are coming out down the line soon...

I'd love to see it Chiro but unfortunately if you're not registered with Bladeforums you can't see the pics, and you can't register if your email is Hotmail, or a similiar free service.

Hopefully someone will copy them in.

And I've just realised I completely forgot to reply to your email. I do apologise!

    Thank you Jon!

That is indeed very, very nice. And bearing in mind my well known views on wharnie style blades that is high praise indeed!

I've just had another look after posting the above and it's not just very nice, it's really rather wonderful!

Thanks for copying those in! I didn't realize you had to register to see BFC pictures. Next time I'll wait until I can post them properly!

    No, please don't!

There's always gonna be someone who will copy them in so I'd much rather see the pics than wait!

One thing that just occured, what does everyone think to the black micarta pin? I thought it would look nice with the curly koa (Steve did this on his curly koa tanto) but most knives seem to have matching pins and thongholes would brass for both have been better or what.
