Re: what do you drive
Very nice, ive promised myself a daytona yellow morgan one day
, as a very young lad of 6/7 i got to see a total ground up restoration of a morgan i can remember climbing over our back wall to cross the field to the coal yard where my fathers mate used to work on it most days. I used to sit there and ask a million questions, like you do
must have driven the bloke mad, the best bit was when the front door bell rang one evening, there it stood in all its glory, a daytona yellow morgan, man was i impressed, even more so when i got taken out for a spin in it, you never realise at the time, but it set me on a road to racing.

We all know the way, but few actually walk it

Just got rid of my beloved Hilux Surf as it consumed oil as quick as diesel!
Replaced her with a Volvo V40 T4 which is a bit of a sleeper, boring estate until you give it some wellie!Happiest when covered in crap from my grinder!

Re: what do you drive
Our Morgan is a 1979 4/4 with a Ford 1600 X-Flow engine. It's sat for the last 6 years in a garage, but started first time and we were able to drive it onto the trailer. It'll need retrimming and paint, but it's remarkably sound mechanically.

I drive a Mazda Tribute which is suprisingly ok in the muddy stuff with 4x4 diff locked on. I had to get a sensible car as SWMBO said so. Lol
The 110 Landy is still on the wishlist but they are really expensive over here

A lovely Toyota Landcruiser Colorado for all my stalking trips and fun when I have free time and an equally lovely (albeit rather more boring...) motorway mile muncher 1.9TDi Sport A4 Avant.
better have a gun and not need it, than need one and not have it (or should that be a knife?)

Two '02 Landcruisers and an '04 Range Rover - I meant to sell two of them but just can't bring myself to part with any of them at the moment
