    I rate the axis lock very highly. Can't go far wrong there.

    As an ambidextrous wildcard choice for a US infantryman, I'll pipe up for the Cold Steel Rajah II. I don't know if infantrymen are in to knives like that. But as far as ambidextrous pocket folders go, the Rajah II is a marvellous beast and won't ever underperform. It's a tweaked lockback.

    It opens like a bolt of lightning when it's snagged on something. You need big hands for Rajah OHO. It's a huge folder and definition tough.

    Scott Sawby is the only one that I know of that makes a truly ambdextrous lock. It is called the self-lock
