    captain beaky fat belly bushie.

As the name suggests this kit of parts came from CaptainBeaky. I really wanted something to do over the festive season and also a bushie knife. With big hands the good capt had a fat bellied bushie being worked on and let me know in time for the holidays it was nearly ready. He worked over the weekend to get it ready for me and all packaged so a big thank you to him for doing that I know it was really good of you and its greatly appreciated.

Well it did indeed arrive in time for xmas and as a present to me, the only one may I add, I have done a lot of work on it. Worked non stop since it arrived as had nothing else to do and its passed the time for me beautifully.

Black micarta, mosaic pins and a cap'ns own fat belly blade. for big hands its perfect. I must confess to changing some of the profiles of the underbelly for a better fit in my huge hands, I hope he wont mind

The cut on the back of my little finger is from this blade, not watching carefully enough, the reprofile of the under belly is not a big deal but as Captain Beaky made the blade he will notice the changes. Its to make it better for me and thats who will use it. Any thought or comments would be good, sorry for bad pics but fading light means I manage as best I can

If anyone would be good enough to do a sheath for me on the cheap as my skills on this one are not up to it, please let me know. Something horizontal for using would be good.

    TIA

I used to to cut my dinner last night, an old Tshirt to stem the blood flow from lack of attention, some para cord for a lanyard and going to be slicing some lovely chicken in a minute with some crusty bread, and a warm coffee for my dinner.. thats right chicken, your next on my agenda with the new knife!

    I hope chickens cant read...

thank you for the kind comments

    Nice work, Axle

Yes, I can see where you've changed the profile on the tang. Of course I don't mind at all - I originally did the shape for my hands, and you're right - you do have big hands...

I did say to mind your fingers - it's quite sharp...

Thank you mate, very kind of you. The service was amazing and I dont think you cant beat the service from some one who enjoys what he does.
I had a lot of fun doing this, and use from it already. Its heavy, big, manly and for me its perfect.
