    Blackjack 125, yes, no, maybe?

    What think you?
I'm enamored with this knife, but can't quite commit...to $175, as I'm the frugal (cheapass) type. There's zero chance of me forking over the $ for a realthing Randall (see above), so don't even.
This comes in several flavors of handle; g-10 and micarta, the orange being my fav, plus leather and stag.
    So?

I like Ken Warner, you know, the knife annual book bloke?

He retired from the written word, to run this company...

I really do like this model...and the orange makes a lot of sense...

These were indeed made by BRKT. They do look good. I've been eyeballing them myself.

I did not know the BRKT connection...alters my perception somewhat, sadly...

Just by a few glances, I see nothing terribly wrong with it. Could be useful as a hunting knife I suppose. I would have no problem purchasing that if I had need for it, with or without all the drama.

Knife - guard connection looks not very neatly done, but that may be the image lightning. Have bad experiences with anything BRKT, so no thanks.

I like it nice blade profile although I agree with Zackerty and Joel about the ricasso and guard,it seems they afflicted their whole line with that nugget of ugly site blurb says 5" blade so I reckon that's a 3-3/4 cutting edge

Knifesupply are knocking em out at $140 up depending on the handle.

Shipping to the UK is usually about $30.

There's a vid of some American chap taking down a tree with a 125 and baton. Be warned - there are graphic depictions of a tree dying in this video. Not for the faint hearted

    Hey
Save up and get a "Randall" you won't be sorry !!! They are addictive once u start. If you must go for Blackjack, try and get ones that were made at the Effingham factory if u can, I believe the build quality was much better.
