    Wh ott?

Anyone else think that William Henry have stepped overboard with the richness of their designs in the past two or three years

There used to be some, I don't know, admirable restraint leavening the jewellery there, but now ....

The essential patterns still look great. It's just the applied decoration seems a little trowelled on now, to me, anyhow

Agreed, and i think they cost far to much when you consider you could buy a one of a kind custom for the money.

    Way, way WAY OTT

Which is a shame - I love the shape and look of some of their knives, just not the trowelled on bling.

They look like the teenaged wife of a Russian oligarch, dripping with bling and a rhinestone thong. As with the teenaged wife of a Russian oligarch I'm sure they are superbly made and very, very good at what they do, but I'm not sure if I'd want one in the house for more than half an hour, just to have a play with.

Agreed. Its much to OTT for my liking but I can see the attraction as its bling done right.

Half an hour? Who you trying to kid, Dan.

I'm a fan of simple restraint as far as knives are concerned.

I think they actulay go so far they become ugly knives - A knife should make you want to use it

Their style is rococo while for good taste it should rather aim for bauhaus.

They wouldn't look out of place in a Franklin Mint brochure, next to some "commemorative crystal owls" and the like...
