What rivets or eyelets?
...for a kydex sheath?
I am (attempting) to make a kydex sheath for a SOG Seal Pup, and have bought some eyelets which are not long enough to go through two layers of kydex.
Approx width is 4mm.
I drilled 6mm holes.
Also, where can I get chicago screws from to attach the belt loop (still to make)?
Thanks for any help or advice.

Re: What rivets or eyelets?
I've asked about 'long' eyelets before, do a search for tubular eyelets and you should find info. The short version is they're specialist items and you need to order boat loads of them from engineering places...
For leather work commissions please contact me through www.ianatkinson.net and read the information on there regarding waiting times, T+C etc. rather than sending me PMs, there is also a full gallery of my leather work on the site as well as videos! Also to see any items that I have for sale right now you can click here to visit my Etsy shop.

Thanks for the info, Ian. I found your webpage while googling for tubular eyelets. Nice work on the Mora sheath. I'm in the Forces so will try one of the workshops on base for some.

Re: What rivets or eyelets?
There are plenty eyelets here as well as rivets
http://www.dtpsupplies.com/
I have no connection with the company other than they supplied me with some brass rivets."What's money? A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do." - Bob Dylan

Re: What rivets or eyelets?
Daivoli is right for the chicagos and they sell rivets too like these

Your best bet for bulk kydex orders is knifekits.com, they do everything you could possiblely need ,
But You dont have to rivet kydex , many sheath makers who make expedition / military sheaths , just screw them closed with chicagos , as it allows for very easy/ fast cleaning .

Re: What rivets or eyelets?
Thanks for the replies, guys. I have found out that chicago screws are also known as "binding screws" - I found some brass ones on the Bay. Thanks for the Identity Store link.
Ru - Love the Spydie sheath!
One more question - Tek-Loks. Are they available in bulk for lower costs?Stretch3144

Re: What rivets or eyelets?
Hey Stretch , Yeah you can get discounts for buying more tekies at knifekits .com
, as Youl have to pay for more for shipping from the US, its prob worth buying in bulk.
You can order them from HH in the UK or from Brisa in the EU, if that helps .
Diavoli, Ive been trying to get them to stock kydex / bits for a while as well, about 2 years now !LEATHER & KYDEX SHEATH MAKER !
