Re: The League of Pipe Smokers
LOL - excellent! I used to smoke one of these - which looks remarkably similar, stem length notwithstanding. ![]() In a somewhat drunken fit of "I'm quitting this ghastly thing once and for all!" I rashly threw it into a furiously burning garden incinerator one evening. I do miss that pipe occasionally, although not the smoke so much these days. It was great for fishing in the rain, where hand rolled cigarettes were the devils own nightmare. |

Re: The League of Pipe Smokers
I find a pipe much easier to hump down a river trip up here. I have been known to bring a 50 cigar waterproof case out on occasion but these days a pipe is much more Voyageur.
![]() One of my pipes is in the Garage workshop from when I was last working on my current knife project. I think I shall have to revisit it tomorrow ![]() -W. |

Re: The League of Pipe Smokers
Currently working through a tin of http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_...LPHA=R&TID=961 , not bad, just something about it i'm not happy with, reminds me too much of alfa alfa horse hay substitute, maybe a tad sweet? Going full strength next time, any ideas?
