That's looking really rather good Will, and in the king of colours too.

SWMBO was looking approvingly at Tipis ans stoves over my shoulder the other day, although she would prefer a canvas Tipi, the Kif stove has her vote.

I just have to sneak a Black Zulu and a Woobie past her at some point...

Tell him to tiptoe, and not drop his assegei.

I've got a Woobie coming, I told SWMBO it was for her benefit as winter is coming. That worked well, she keeps an eye out for the postie for me now.

Re: Ah, Kifaru

Just wondering if anyone has used any small G1 and G2 packs of the same variety. I was wondering if the added back and lumber bits make any real difference when using for any lengthy period, ie comfort, or preventing sweaty back.
I ask as I have a strong urge to buy another pack , this time in coyote and again want another Express.
Am I becoming obsessed .

Cheers Andy

Re: Ah, Kifaru

They made the Express longer in the back didn't they?

I do think the marauder is a bit short for normal use. I would have rather have a slightly taller possibly slimmer pack.

I have to wait now for 6-8 weeks until my new one arrives and put up with the pain that is customs and VAT charges .
Enjoy your new pack in good health mate . When my new one arrives we will have to get round to a fishing trip.

Cheers Andy

If not we can sit near a window and watch the sea while drinking and telling tall fishing tales .

Re: Ah, Kifaru

Ive been looking into the skinny mini longs to go either side of my G2 E&E,
but was just wondering what I could actually get in them, as they are quite narrow but also seem kinda flat

and would I be able to put a stash it on the back of the E&E if I already had an organizer on the lowest pals grid ?

Thanks in advance ,
Ru

I'll take this one...

Skinny minis will take a 750ml Camelbak but not a 1L Nalgene. Or it'll take a 'normal' shemagh or four pairs of thick walking socks. If you've got something in mind I'll try it if you like.

The Stash-it fits, but not very well due to its tapered shape. It makes using the Organiser a bit of a pain. An Emdom baby shingle might be a better choice although I haven't tried it yet; http://prostores2.carrierzone.com/se...a/Detail?no=34

Many thanks Ian , im quessing its been asked many times before , Im thinking certainly on one side for a small thermos flask (very British I know )

and probably Mars bars in the other , if You could let me know how many normal size You could roughly cram in that would be great
